Having just developed our Same Day Edit Experience, Alexis and Zac were excited to have this video concept at their wedding. Everyone loved it and despite all the stress and obstacles we encounter when doing one, it is all worth it when we watch the couple's and guest's reaction. Zac and Alexis met  a week before Valentine's Day in 2008. They were introduced by a mutual friend of theirs who was taking a class in Santa Fe College with Zac, while Alexis attended  University of Florida. Their friendship instantly turned into love and when Zac left for the Marine Corps bootcamp in Parris Island, South Carolina they communicated through their only form of communication: letters. Alexis wrote a letter everyday for three months, sometimes three. Zac graduated from basic training the Tuesday before Thanksgiving in 2012 and during his 10 day vacation stay at home he proposed to Alexis. The bride describes the groom as being really nervous prior to proposing and remembers how he kept repeating how much he loved her until he finally popped the question.

The couple were married by Father Robert Valle, the same priest who performed her first communion. Alexis married in a custom gown from J Del Olmo Bridal Gallery while Zac wore his Marine Corps dress blues. The couple married five years to the date of when they began dating.
