Let’s start with the coldest day in Miami in over 10 years. There were actually reports of flurries in Kendall. I vividly remember during the getting ready looking outside the window and telling everyone I saw snow flurries. Everyone immediately laughed at me and ignored to get up and look with me, but I know what I was seeing. It was snow!
We started the day at the Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove for the getting ready. From their we made our way to St. Patricks Catholic Church for a beautiful ceremony. Following that, we took a trolley all the way to the Alfred Dupont Building. During the trolley ride we noticed the weather dipping to about 40 degrees. It was freezing!
From that moment on, I don’t think the weather affected anyone because the party was on! Everyone danced the night away at this beautiful event. The Alfred Dupont is definitely one of my favorite venues in South Florida. It’s a cinematographers dreamland. There are so many interesting backdrops and elements to play with. It was an incredible honor to capture this evening for the Melissa and Cesar.
